Donald C. Allen

Donald C. Allen, age 58, of Westport, passed away on August 21, 2018 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Mr. Allen was born in Hartford and was a son to Donald R. Allen and the late Joan Spicer Allen. He had recently moved back to the United States from Portugal. Donald was a Salesman in various retail industries but his love was being a musician playing the drums. He also enjoyed working around the house and gardening.

Survivors in addition to his father include a loving sister Sara Greenawalt and her husband Mark of Fairfield; his aunt Elizabeth Sedgwick of Weston; his nieces and nephews, David Allen, Marc & Danielle Greenawalt; and numerous friends.

Friends may join the family on Thursday August 30, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm for a memorial celebration of Donald’s Life at the Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street, in Historic Norwalk.
