STAMFORD, CONN Dolores Rey-Gonzalez of Stamford passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2010 in Norwalk Hospital, after being stricken ill. She was one day shy of her 86th birthday. Born on October 24, 1924 in Ribeira, la Coruna, Spain, Dolores was the daughter of the late Jose and Dolores (Gonzalez) Rey-Gonzalez and attended local schools there. In recent years, she emigrated to the United States to be with her daughter, Maria Nieves Sieira-Rey of Norwalk. Local services will be held privately and Dolores will be transported back to her hometown in Spain, where she will be buried.
