D'Juan V Paulk

D’juan Voltaire Paulk (Tang), age 45 passed away at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York on October 17th, 2022. D’juan was born in Norwalk on April 15th, 1977. He was the son of Archie Benjamin Hilliard and Debbie Paulk. D’juan was an amazing father, brother, family member, and beloved friend. He enjoyed boxing throughout his childhood and teenage years; he was an excellent graphic artist. The drawings that he drew brought smiles to our faces. He was an avid animal lover; he always had all kinds of animals, especially dogs which were close to his heart. He was family oriented and tried his best to be around family functions, family meant a lot to him. He was someone who would give the shirt off his back to those in need, a loveable, kind, and selfless person who filled those around him with joy and laughter. He always had a sense of humor that had you holding your stomach with tears in your eyes, the good kind. He loved watching movies and was always on the move. He made his mark in everyone’s memories and those memories will be stories told for years to come. He will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who knew him.

Survivors include; Past and Present domestic Partners: Christie & Iwona ; his loving children, Samaira, Alexa, & Mill’ion; Siblings, Malik Ali & Davin; Cousin, Brandon Johnson; In-Laws, Doris, Gregory, Gregory Jr, & Nicholas; Aunts, Gracie, Shirley, Donna Diane, Theresa, Rose, & Francine;  Uncles,  Garnell, Steve, Leroy, & Anson Carl; Godsister, Donna Nireen;  and many loved Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.  He is Predeceased by Grandparents;  Maternal, Leroy Paulk and Hazel May Paulk;  Granparents Paternal, Archie Hilliard & Maebell Robert; Step Grandfather, Sampson Robert;  Parents, Archie Benjamin Hilliard & Debbie Paulk ; Aunts, MaryAnn Floyd, Gail Paulk, Felicia Paulk, & Carmen Marie Hilliard;  Uncles, Charles Hilliard, & Samuel Hilliard.

A Memorial Service will be held from noon to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 at the Raymond Funeral home, 5 E Wall Street in Historic Norwalk, Ct, 06851. There is no repass planned following the service. Please visit www.norwalkfh.com to leave an online condolence for the family.
