Diana V. Romano

Diana V. Romano age 92 of Norwalk, widow of the late Robert A. Romano, died March 15, 2017 at the home of her son John surrounded by her
loving family and friends. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a daughter to the late John and Nicolina Riccobono proud Sicilian immigrants. Diana was a long time Norwalk resident since 1952 and split her time between Florida and Norwalk before moving back to Norwalk for the last eight years. She was predeceased by her husband Robert A. Romano, her sister Josephine Capparella and grandson John C.

Surviving her are her children John and wife Nataliya and Robert A. Jr., grandchildren Roberto A. and wife Lynda and Michael R. and wife Megan, Christopher, Robert, Nicole, and Jaye Lufty, two great grandchildren Jean Medina and Freya M. Romano and a great great granddaughter Mila Medina. Kristrun Romano mother of Grandsons Roberto A., John C. and Michael R. M any nieces and nephews who adored her.

Visitation, viewing is on Sunday March 19, 2017 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. in Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street. Norwalk Ct. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday March 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd.  Norwalk, CT Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Norwalk.
