MILFORD/NORWALK, CONN Delight "Dee" Irene Pirc, beloved wife of Vladimir Pirc passed away in Milford on April 14, 2011. Daughter of the late Mary (Ray) and Russell Rinehart, Dee was born and raised in Angola, Indiana. Dee was recently predeceased by her loving and devoted son, Douglas Pirc. Survivors include her loving son, Broderick Pirc (Elaine), their daughter Tiffany Pirc, and sons Shawn Morris all of Bethel, and Trevor Pirc (Kelly) of South Carolina, loving daughter-in-law Loretta Pirc, her daughter Carolyn both of Orange, and sons Christopher (fiancé Emily Briggs), and Cameron Pirc all of New Haven. Additional survivors include siblings, Mickie (Lynn) Champion, Joseph Rinehart, both of Indiana, and Steven Rinehart of West Virginia as well as several nieces and nephews. Dee was predeceased by siblings Myrtle Pristas, Roberta Bozomoski, Ruth Collins, Joyce Capone, and Russell Rinehart Jr. Dee lived most of her life in Norwalk. For over twenty years, she was the well-liked receptionist for the RT Vanderbilt Company. She was known for her rhyming poems that were amusing caricatures of her co-workers. An avid reader, Dee always had a book within arm's reach. She enjoyed needlework and her beautiful creations are proudly displayed in her home as well as in the homes of family and friends. Dee's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from NOON - 1:00PM. A procession will follow to Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk, where a Graveside Service will be conducted by the Rev. Nicholas Lang of St. Paul-On-The-Green Church, Norwalk.
