Damien Fanning

Damien Fanning, age 77, of Norwalk, passed away on May 9th, 2021 at Norwalk Hospital.  Damien was born on April 4th, 1944 in Norwalk to the late Arthur and Myrtle (Reed) DaMato. Damien attended Central Catholic High School, graduating class of 1963, and was a lifelong Norwalk resident.  She worked for many years at Zion's Hill Preschool in Wilton as an aide and was a volunteer at the Church of St. Philip in Norwalk.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Jeffrey Fanning of Norwalk, her children Amy Vignone and her husband James of New York City, Carrie Fanning of Port Reading, NJ, Leslie Fanning, and Chad Fanning, both of Norwalk, her granddaughter Alessandra Vignone, and her sister Michaela Hickey of Libertyville, IL, brother Kieran DaMato of Centennial, CO, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Brendan DaMato and Vincent DaMato.
