Cora M. Purdie PURDIE-Cora M. Purdie age 81 of Norwalk, passed away November 4, 2012 in Norwalk Hospital. She was born December 13, 1931 in Whiteville, North Carolina and was a daughter to the late Douglas F. and Lena Powell Wright. Cora was predeceased by her husband Julius E. Purdie and had retired as a Home Health Aid for Family Aid and Children Services. Survivors include her loving children: Douglas A. Purdie of Atlanta, Georga; Michael S. Purdie of Mulberry, Florida; Brian J. Purdie of Charlotte, North Carolina; Keith A. Purdie of Bridgeport, Connecticut; Vanessa Purdie, Lolita L. Purdie, Anita H. Purdie of Norwalk, Connecticut and Lisa Harewood of Atlanta, Georgia. Brothers and sisters: Eloise George, James Wright, Ralph Wright of Jersey City, New Jersey; Verlene Oliver of Easton, Pennsylvania; Larice Wright, Donna Jean Wright and Pandora Wright of Whiteville, North Carolina.17 Grandchildren,12 Great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, November 8, 2012, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street.
