HAWKES-Claudia Hawkes age 40, of Norwalk, died suddenly on Saturday April 28, 2012. Claudia was born November 25, 1971 in Brazil and was a daughter of Hugo and Marly Sena Batista. She was devoted and loving mother that always helped others and loved animals. Survivors in addition to her parents in Brazil include a daughter Melissa Hawkes, her former husband Peter Hawkes both of Bridgeport, a brother Renato Batista of Brazil, and three sisters, Marcia Davis of Australia, Angela Araujo of Norwalk and Leila Batista of Brazil. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at 1:00 pm in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory, 5 East Wall Street, Norwalk. Interment will be private at a later date.
