Clare Franco-Grayson of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully on September 4, at Stamford Hospital after a long illness. Born in New York City in 1935, she attended Rhodes Precatory Private School in New York City, and earned a Liberal Arts degree from Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, Pennsylvania. She was married for 50 years, and pre deceased by her late husband Todd A.Grayson. She is survived by 4 children, Christina Braun, Richard E. Tutching, Wendy Lucia and her husband Joseph, and Robin Whitney, 12 Grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Early in her career she worked for Chase Manhattan Bank, in New York City and Pitney Bowes in Stamford, CT. Later she became a full-time mother until the late 1980s when she returned to the work force working for Gartner Group where she worked in marketing and then retiring. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and was a donor to several charities in support of animal rights, and underprivileged children. She was kind to all she came into contact with and loved by all who knew her. May she rest in Peace A mass will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 229 Danbury Rd. Wilton, CT. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, The Scleroderma Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
