Christopher James MacDonald, “C Mac”, 40, of Norwalk, CT passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 10, 2021. Chris was born on November 18, 1980 in Norwalk, CT and relocated with his family to Wilder, VT in 1988.
He was a graduate of Hartford High School where he enjoyed participating in theatre and made lifelong friends. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from Johnson State College and was a recipient of the student spirit award. Chris had a generous spirit, and it gave him great joy to make others happy. His outgoing personality allowed him to connect with people and fueled his successful career in sales and consulting. His career and special bonds gave him the opportunity to live in many exciting cities throughout the U.S. and Europe. Chris had a laugh and smile that lit up a room which left a lasting impression on all that met, knew, and loved him.
Chris is survived and loved by his mother, Stacey Luciw of West Hartford, VT, father, Norman MacDonald and his wife, Denise MacDonald of Peoria, AZ, step father, Paul Luciw of South Royalton, VT; siblings, Scott of Sharon, VT, Morgan of Tempe, AZ, and Jordan of Phoenix, AZ, his three nephews Cole, Connor, and Corbyn of Sharon, VT, his beloved dog Cooper, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, especially his dearest friend Hillary Dana Schmid.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Peggy Stroffolino, and paternal grandparents, Norman and Mildred MacDonald.
A private service was held with Chris’s immediate family at Raymond Funeral Home in Norwalk, CT. Donations in memory of Chris may be made to www.pridecentervt.org or to the charity of your choice.
