Charlotte A. Barnes

Charlotte Ann Barnes, 85, a longtime resident of Norwalk, Connecticut passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Autumn Lake. She was born on March 25, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Eugeine and Alfred Schoch.

Charlotte was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, James Richard Barnes. They were married at the Hungarian Reform Church and spent many wonderful years together.

Charlotte worked for Singer Sewing Machine for 30 years. She was also a life member, as well as the First Woman President of the Norwalk Quartette Club. Charlotte also served as president of the Ladies Auxiliary Club for many years. Charlotte and James had a large paper route for the Norwalk Hour together.

A graveside service and interment will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:00 am meeting directly at St. John’s Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
