Long Time Resident of Norwalk Carolyn M. DeMichael, age 69, passed away on October 16, 2014 in Norwalk Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Westport, CT and was a long-time resident of Norwalk. Carol was a loving wife and mother and predeceased by her cherished husband of 39 years, Carlo G. DeMichael. She is survived by: her two loving sons, James DeMichael of Fairfield, Keith DeMichael and his fiancée Maria Kementzidis of Norwalk; and her granddaughter Carly. Carolyn served as the Director of Administration for the Second Taxing District for 11 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Prince, and going to the Norwalk Senior Center with her best friend. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 4-8PM at Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory on 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 10AM at Saint Matthews Church in Norwalk. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
