Resident of Norwalk Carol Garvey age 65, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Norwalk on November 27, 1949 and was a daughter to the late Bernard J. & Barbara P. Rozell Stone. Ms. Garvey was a Supervisor employed at Norwalk Hospital for the past 24 years. Carol is survived by a daughter Frances "Fran" Pappolla; two sons Michael and John Garvey; two granddaughters Courtney and Jordan Rae Garvey, all of Norwalk; a brother Robert Stone of Mississippi; and many loving relatives and friends in Rhode Island. She was predeceased by a son Hank Garvey. Friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday January 21, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 10:30 AM at St. Matthew's Church, Norwalk.
