Carmella Antoinette Carruthers

Mrs. Carmella (Capardino) Carruthers, 74, of Ogdon House in Wilton, CT and the beloved wife of her late husband Dave Carruthers passed away on December 22, 2015.

Carmella was born in Bronx, NY on March 21, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophia (Marino) Capardino. She then moved to Norwalk, CT where she lived most of her life. She retired from the Norwalk Hospital.

She spent her time gardening, painting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Carmella was a loving mother and grandmother to her survived by her three children sons Edward Seco of Merietta GA, Raymond and his wife Barbie Seco of Norwalk, CT, her Daughter Michelle Carruthers of Norwalk, CT. She has five grandchildren, Alec and Ben Seco, Samantha and Jake Seco and David Lora.

She also is survived by nephew Mark Capardino and his wife Martha of Orleans MA, niece Diana and Ron Dudley of Granby CT. their son Eric Dudley and his wife Melanie, Niece Liza Pegg of Antioch, CA and Gary Pegg of Chico, CA, She is also survived by her cousins Lori and Paul Cordeau and their daughter Kimberly Cranford and her husband Steven of Naugatuck, CT and Jack and Nancy Marino of Westport, CT. In addition her husband and her parents, Mrs. Carruthers was predeceased by her brothers Joseph Capardino and his wife Josie and William Capardino and his wife Licia.
