Carmela Pesce PESCE-Carmela Pesce age 82, beloved wife of Salvatore Pesce, passed away suddenly at her home in Milford. Mrs. Pesce was born in Ischia, Italy on May 1, 1930 and was a daughter to the late Salvatore and Giovanna Balestrieri D'Iorio. Carmela was a retired employee of Swank-Crest Line, Inc. Survivors in addition to her husband include a son Giovan G. Pesce and his wife Lisa of Norwalk; two daughters Immacolata Sassano and her husband Paolo; Toni Petrucci and her husband Leo, all of Milford; a brother Aniello D'Iorio of Boston, MA; a sister Ersilia Pesce of Norwalk and seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call at the Funeral Home on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church, 669 West Avenue, Norwalk. Entombment will follow at St. John's Mausoleum.
