Norwalk Resident Carl P. Gallo age 74, passed away peacefully in his home on November 21, 2014. He was born in Stamford and was a son to the late Peter & Louise Vacca Gallo. Carl was a proud veteran having served in the US Army. He was the original Owner of the Dry Dock Café for 34 years. Survivors include a loving daughter Denise Gallo; a son Gregg Gallo; a brother Frank "Buddy" Gallo; two sisters, Marie Caldwell and Jean Davis; his former wife Roberta "Pinky" Falero; four grandchildren Christopher & Robert Romano, & Justin & Ryan Gallo. He was predeceased by a sister Carol Bohannan. Family and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday November 25, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 10 AM, DIRECTLY at Church of The Nazarene, 146 Main Street, Norwalk. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
