Brenda Lee Capers

Brenda Lee Capers of Bridgeport, CT passed away on
April 20, 2022. Brenda was born August 7, 1962 in Holly
Hill, SC to the late Erthley Capers and Thelma Void. She
leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughter,
Destiny Williams, her granddaughter Ava Bracey of
Stamford, CT, her stepson Brian Myrie and one foster
child of Bridgeport, CT, as well as her siblings Carrie
Ann Fogle of Holly Hill, SC, and Carlton Capers of
Bridgeport, CT.
Brenda graduated from Norwalk High School and
received her Certificate in Early Childhood Education
from Norwalk Community College, both in Norwalk, CT.
She was a dedicated employee of the Neon Child
Development Program for over 25 years, worked
tirelessly for several non-profit organizations and was
loved by everyone in the communities she served. She
loved planning the annual family picnic. Family was her
greatest joy and she loved any event that would bring her
family together.
Brenda also leaves her beloved special cousins Sylvia
Ann Dixon of Bridgeport, CT, Mary Ann Davis, Martha
Ann Entzminger, Geneva Garner, and Warren Hilliard
all of Norwalk, CT, Betty Bookhardt of Waterbury and a
host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will all miss
her dearly.
The family would like to thank everyone for the
generosity shown to us during this difficult time. We
would also like to thank the DDH Hope Foundation
for their generosity.
