Loving Memory of Belbrune Joseph

April 1, 1950 – February 6, 2025

Belbrune Joseph, 74, lovingly remembered as “Kelet” passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Born in Fond des Blancs, Haiti to the late Clairbrune and Dipee Bruisseret.

Belbrune was first and foremost an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. Faith was the cornerstone of her life, she lived her beliefs through actions – always there when needed most, offering support, wisdom and an abundance of love. Belbrune found pleasure in caring for her grandchildren and cooking for her family. She enjoyed shopping and being fashionable. Her strong sense of community was her constant motivation to spread joy and positivity to all who knew her through her infectious smile and caring spirit. Her absence leaves an immense void in our hearts.

Belbrune is survived by her beloved husband Antionier Joseph of  54 years, her 3 children Ulrick Joseph of Norwalk, Edvard Joseph of Norwalk and Marie Duncan of Norwalk. She leaves to cherish fond memories from her 8 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Belbrune will forever remain in our hearts, and her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all.

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2025

Service: 11am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 203 East Avenue, Norwalk Entombment will follow at St. John, Mausoleum in Norwalk.

Reception: 2pm at Norwalk Inn & Conference Center 90 East Avenue, Norwalk
