Barbara Anne Billingham

Barbara Billingham, 81, died on July 21, 2024, in Norwalk Hospital. Born in Stamford, CT, the daughter of George Gregory Sr and Helen Gregory Sabato.  Barbara worked at Norwalk Community College in the payroll department for 35 years.  Barbara’s world revolved around her family.  She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, and Grammie.  Always having the biggest smile on her face, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and will be truly missed.  She loved cooking for her family and always made sure to have enough ice cream.

She is survived by her brother George (Mary) Gregory Jr., sisters Toni (Allan) Jansen, and Claire Gregory.  Her sons Donald (Colleen) and Gregory Billingham.  She was predeceased by her son Ronald Billingham, Jr.   Grandchildren: Marine Sgt. Gregory (Dana) Billingham, Marine Sgt. Corey (Jannelse) Billingham, Veronika (Giovanni) DiMartino, Olivia Billingham, Matthew (Rachel) Anastasia, and Sarah Callands.  Great-Grandchildren:  Brayden and Cameron Billingham, Giovanni DiMartino, Army Specialist/E4 Christian Callands, Moriah Callands, Michael Williams, Dion Williams, and Asher Anastasia.  She is also survived by her niece, many nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whose sacrifice and dedication were unwavering.  She is also survived by many cousins and close family friends.

Her family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, July from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street, Norwalk, CT.  A private burial will be held Friday, July 26 for immediate family.  Please visit www.Raymond.Care to leave an online condolence for the family.
