NORWALK, CONN Audrey J. Cole of Norwalk passed away peacefully on Sunday January 2, 2011 at Norwalk Hospital following a long illness, she was 76 years old. Born in Norwalk on February 4, 1934, Audrey was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Imri) Russo. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School, class of 1953. She continued her education at the Merrill Business School where she met her loving husband of 54 years, Robert J. Cole Sr. Along with her husband Bob, Audrey is survived by her two sons, Robert J. Cole II and Paul Cole and his wife Tammy of Norwalk, Two daughters, Cindi Svec and Kimball of Stratford and Lisa DeMarco and her husband Steve of Norwalk; Four cherished Grandchildren, Jake, Taylor, Danielle, and Steven. She is predeceased by her brother Samuel Russo and sister Anna Santoro. Her passion was raising her family. As her family grew she enjoyed spending quality time with them especially her grandchildren. She always showed amazing strength and she will be greatly missed. A Memorial Mass celebrating Audrey's life will be held on Thursday, January 06, 2011 in Christ Episcopal Church, 2 Emerson Street, East Norwalk at 10:00AM. The Rev. Frank E. Wismer, III will officiate. Interment will follow at 12:30PM in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. There are no calling hours.
