NORWALK, CONN Armando Socci of Norwalk passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010 in Norwalk Hospital, he was 72. Born on October 27, 1938 in Roma Italy, Armando was the son of the late Cesidio and Maria (Terenzio) Socci. Armando grew up in Settefrati Italy, marring Gerarda (Palladino) on August 10, 1958 and were married fifty-one-years before she passed away in 2009. In March of 1966, the family migrated to New Canaan before settling in Norwalk in 1982. Armando was a carpenter by trade, a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his two daughters, Michelina Socci-Sheikh of Norwalk,CT; and Maria T. Socci and of Kent, CT; his grandson, Daniel Alexander Sheikh of Norwalk ,CT; and brother Carmine Socci of Palm Beach, Florida and many cousins.
