RODRIGUEZ-Armando Rodriguez, age 73, of Norwalk, beloved husband of 38 years to Francia Reina Rodriguez, died May 6, 2012 in Norwalk Hospital. Mr. Rodriguez was born August 26, 1938 in Medellin, Colombia to the late Antonio J. and Ernestina Rodriguez. He was a long time Norwalk resident and was employed at Norwalk Hospital for Environmental Services. Armando enjoyed fishing, and watching boxing and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. Survivors in addition to his wife include a son Armando, Jr. and three daughters, Mariana and her husband Ruben, Francia and her husband Josh, Maria and her fiancée Tony; Cherished grandchildren, Anamaria, Laura Andrea, Andre, Jason, Joshua, Gabriel, Miguel Angel and Sophia Irene; three sisters, Beatriz, Irene, and Marina; two brothers, Javier, and Juaquin; many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by a daughter, Irene and two brothers, Gustavo and Misael. Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday May 10, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:30 am at Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory, 5 East Wall Street, a mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 85 South Main Street.
