Antonio Vargas

Antonio Vargas, Age 57, beloved husband of Maria Vargas passed away unexpectedly on May 11th, 2025. He was born in Bridgeport CT on March 14th 1968 to the late Felix and Irma Rosa Vargas. Antonio worked as a CDL truck driver for CDS in Norwalk. Antonio was a person full of joy, it showed with the way he’d joke with his children, always looking for ways to one up pranks that he was always pulling. He held many hobbies but the one he gravitated to - golf.

He was a person full of joy, his presence would fill any room he’d entered, he was overflowing with love and he happily shared it with all he met. Antonio’s was known for many things but the thing he was most renown for was his unwavering love and loyalty towards his children and family- his biggest pride and joy.

Antonio is survived by his wife and children Antonio and his partner Brianna Palmer, Ricky, Giovanni and Aliyah; his mother in law, Maria Aponte; sister in law Elsie Aponte, her partner Enrique Perez brown and her children Carlos, Isaiah and Lexie; Siblings, Wanda Avila and chui, Felix and Lilian, Ricky Vargas and Dania, Mario Vargas and Anushka as well as a many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to visitation Monday May 19th, 2025 from 8:30 till 10:30am at Raymond Funeral Home , 5 East Wall Street in Historic Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Church on South Main Street, Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Norwalk.
