WESTPORT, CONN. Anne Allison, 99, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2009 in Honey Hill Care Center, Norwalk. Her beloved husband Archie Allison of forty-nine years, passed away in 1991. Born in Scranton PA on March 24, 1910, Anne was educated in local schools. She enjoyed providing for her family and will be remembered with much love by her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters, Joan and her husband, Raymond Loomis of Washington DC and Diane Allison and her husband, David Godfrey of Westport; three grandchildren, Ashley Loomis, Charles Allison-Godfrey and Andrew Allison-Godfrey and a great grandson, Justin Lee Gifford She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Allen and four brothers and sisters. Anne will be laid to rest next to her husband and son in Lakeview Cemetery in Bridgeport. All services will be held privately. The family has selected Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street to assist them in the arrangements.
