Anna Vona

Anna Vona, age 96, of Norwalk, passed away on February 27, 2025. She was born Anna Verrelli on February 1st 1929 in Torrice, Frosinone, Italy and was a daughter to the late Giovanni Verrelli and Maria D’Aversa.

Anna is survived by a sister, Lisanna; a son Carlo Vona and Grace (Conte), Vona; Grandson Richard Vona; Grandson Carlo Vona Jr and Merdith Vona and their Children, Carlo Jay (CJ) Kennedy Rose, Emilia Grace, Quinn Anna Marie; a Daughter Pasqualina and Vincenzo Iannone;

Grandson Roberto and Kristen Iannone and their Children, Hailey, Isabella, Lucca, Fiorella; Grandson Franco Iannone,  Granddaughter,  Stefania Iannone, Granddaughter Daniela and Anthony Humphrey and their Children, Gabrielle, Giovanni, Lorenzo, Giuliana and Great Grandson Vincenzo Iannone III.

she was pre deceased by her Husband Riccardo Vona,  Grandson Vincenzo Iannone Jr. Brotherss Mercatino and Angelo, Sisters Maria and Santina.

Friends may greet the family on Sunday March 2, 2025 from 2:00 till 6:00 pm at the Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street in Historic Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday March 3, 2025 10:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Norwalk. Entombment will follow at St. John’s Mausoleum, Norwalk.
