Anna Marie Pecunia

Anna Marie Pecunia, age 91, lifelong Norwalk resident and beloved wife for 70 years to John Pecunia, passed away on November 11, 2019 at Norwalk Hospital. She was a daughter to the late John and Devota Maria Decola Peretti and grew up and lived in the Davis Street neighborhood in Norwalk. Anna graduated from Norwalk High school in 1946 and had been a Bank Teller, a Telephone Operator for New England Bell< an active member of St. Philip’s Church and loved cooking for her family. She was the last of 13 siblings to pass away.

In addition to her husband John, she is survived by 3 sons, Vincent Pecunia of Apollo Beach, FL; John R. and Mark Pecunia both of Norwalk, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends may greet the family on Friday November 22, 2019 from 3:00 till 7:00 pm in the Hoyt-Cognetta / Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street in Historic Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday 10:00 am directly at St. Philip’s Church, 1 Father Conlon Pl. Norwalk. Interment will be at a later date.
