With profound sorrow and boundless love, we celebrate the life of Anjelica M. Huertas, born on May 27, 1997, and whose radiant spirit transitioned to eternal peace on January 12, 2026. She was lovingly preceded in death by her devoted parents, Orlando and Bridgette Huertas, Abuela Marta Vazquez, tio David Otero, tio Martin Dejesus, tia Cristina Alicea, and tio Jose R. Vazquez (Papo). Anjelica leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of her sisters Amanda Huertas, Sharri Carrasquillo, Migdalia Carrasquillo, Amanda Carrasquillo, and brothers William Carrasquillo Jr. and Joshua Hurley. Though she didn't have children of her own, Anjelica's love for her 16 nieces and nephews knew no bounds, and she cherished them as her own, she also leaves behind her tia Esmeralda Umpierre, tia Angela Gonzalez and multitude of cousins who adored her. Throughout her life in various Connecticut cities, Anjelica spread warmth, joy, and compassion wherever she went. As a dedicated certified nursing assistant with aspirations to become a nurse, Anjelica embodied the beauty of her name, shining brightly with inner and outer loveliness, a radiant smile, and a voice that sang with angelic sweetness. Despite life's challenges, Anjelica's spirit remained unbreakable, inspiring all with her bold, charismatic, and compassionate nature. Though her life was cut short, she has now found eternal peace, reunited with her beloved parents. Anjelica lived life to the fullest, filled with love, friendship, and loyalty that inspired countless hearts. Her legacy will live on, forever etched in the hearts of those who loved and cherished her.
