Angelina "Angie" Longo Vescio, 58, daughter of the late Maria Mastroianni Longo and Raffaele Longo, passed away suddenly on January 12, 2024, at Norwalk Hospital surrounded by her family after a short battle with illness.

Angelina was born in Nicastro, Italy on September 15, 1965. She emigrated to the United States in 1970 with her family. Angelina was a devoted daughter, wife, and mother and was very hardworking. She had a very lovely personality and was devoted to her triplet sons, whom she loved and was very proud of, to make sure they were taken care of.

Angelina graduated from Central Catholic High School Class of 1984 in Norwalk, CT, later graduating from Katharine Gibbs College in 1986. After college, she became a Scheduling Coordinator at Family and Children’s Agency in Norwalk for 13 years. After the birth of her triplet sons, she took a break from work to raise them. Angelina later went back to work a few years later as a Teller at Bank of America for the next 7 years. She was loved and adored by many of her clients and the greater Norwalk area. Over the years, she worked several other jobs in the banking and social work fields, ending her career as a Patient Care Representative at OrthoConnecticut Coastal Orthopedics.

In addition to her former husband Antonio Vescio, Angelina is survived by her sons Antonio Vescio Jr, Raffaele Vescio, and Eugenio Vescio; nieces Maria (Salvatore) DiPietro and Sabrina (Shane) Geary; nephew Raffaele Longo; and sister-in-law Angela Longo. She is also survived by uncle Giuseppe and wife Angela Mastroianni, aunt Francesca and uncle Ugo Gigliotti; and uncle Giuseppe Mercuri.

She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren and extended family in the United States, Italy, and Australia.

She was predeceased by her parents Maria Mastroianni Longo and Raffaele Longo, her beloved brother Francesco "Frank" Longo; Aunts Caterina Longo, Giuseppina Mercuri and Anna Bonaddio; Uncle Frank Bonaddio; and cousins Giuseppe (Pino) Giampa and Gino Mercuri.

Angelina was a loving and devoted mother who was loved by many. Her hobbies included cooking, homemaking, jarring olives and making homemade red sauce. She often watched cooking channels and would always cook various, unique dishes that her family greatly enjoyed. She was an avid gardener and was proud of her home grown vegetables, which she loved to share. She enjoyed beach rides after work at Calf Pasture Beach, playing music and talking about life. She was a wonderful and loyal friend to all. She enjoyed vacationing with her family to Italy, Florida, Canada, The Dominican Republic, and several beachy destinations.

Angelina will be deeply missed and will be remembered for her great sense of humor and amicable energy that radiated on anybody she encountered.
