NORWALK, CONN. Angelina Murawski Donnelly passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 in Norwalk Hospital after a courageous battle with numerous illnesses. She was born in Greenwich, Conn on September 3, 1921. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Murawski Lasczak, her first husband Joseph Murawski of Stamford, and her second husband Danny Donnelly, of Greenwich. She is survived by her two sons, Joseph Murawski and John Murawski, both from Norwalk, as well as five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all from Norwalk. Angelina enjoyed spending countless hours with her adoring grandchildren, and will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Never thinking of herself, and never complaining, she took care of her ailing daughter, while still lovingly entertaining her grandchildren daily. Angelina was the ultimate grandmother, turning any event into a memory filled occasion, and shedding a positive light on any of life's circumstances. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 16, 2011 in Norwalk's Hoyt Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street between 2:00PM and 4:00PM. A parlor service will follow with the Rev. Nicholas Lang of St. Paul's On The Green, Norwalk to officiate. A private graveside service will follow at a later date.
