Andrea Rene Haywood
It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Andrea Rene Haywood. Tuesday February I7, 2026, she left her worldly home to rest eternally in the arms of our Lord and Savior. Andrea Rene Haywood was the daughter of Rose and Joe Haywood of Norwalk, CT born in Stamford Hospital, she attended Norwalk public schools and was a 1975 graduate of Norwalk High School. After high school she attended Norwalk community. She went to work at banks, such as Norwalk Savings Society, Merchants bank, Fairfield County Trust Company, and Cornerstone bank. Changing over later working at New England Fertility institute, Porter and Chester school and finally landing at the CT DMV, as a supervisor, where she retired in 2023. She attend Community Baptist Church in Norwalk. She had a love for music and baking all kinds of cakes and baked goods.
She was predeceased by her father Joe Nathan Haywood, brothers, Wayne Patrick Haywood, and Joseph Michael Haywood. She is survived by her son Gregory Thomas McCalla of Norwalk, her daughter Candyce Nicole McCalla of Norwalk, her sister Karen D. Haywood, brother Mark A. Haywood, Mother Rose E. Haywood all of Norwalk, CT. Her nephews Charles Miller Jr., Brandon Rembert, Niece Rodnae Rembert, Grandchilder, Isaiah P. McCallaand grayson G. McCalla and their mother Anna P. Reyes, great nieces Alivia Miller, Arianna Gonzalez, Gabrielle Lafayette. She was always kind, understanding and always lent a helping hand when someone was in need and was always thoughtful, she will be truly missed.
