Anatoli Arapidis age 88 of Norwalk, passed away at home on August 28, 2026, in hospice care, surrounded by her family.
Anatoli was born on March 10, 1938 in Kleitos, Greece. She and her husband Anastasios emigrated to Norwalk, CT on November 13, 1977. She worked for Swank as a seamstress for several years. Her daughters Sofia Papadopoulos and her husband Dimitrios, Fotini (Noula) Papadopoulos and her husband Lazaros and Konstantina (Dina) Sarris, all of whom were born in Greece, survive her.
Anatoli was predecesed by her husband, Anastasios on September 30, 2012.
She loved cooking and baking and made sure she fed everyone who ever graced her kitchen. Her love of fresh cut flowers encouraged her to garden and grow beautiful roses and miscellaneous flowers around her backyard to surround the vegetables she grew and nurtured every planting season. Neighbors and friends were also the lucky recipients of her freshly grown vegetables.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, survive her together with their parents; Maria, Anatoli, and Artemis Papadopoulos; Konstantinos and his wife Suky, Anastasios, Panagiotis and his wife Penny Papadopoulos; Lazaros, Alexi, Yianni, Antonio, Ari, Lazaros and Fotini; and Dimitrios Sarris.
It is our belief that our mother Anatoli and our father Anastasios are together once more and that we will see them again one day.
