Alfred E. Leas, 79, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Thursday, April 14 th , 2016. Alfred was born in Norwalk on June 20 th , 1936 to the late John and Harriet Gothfried Leas.
Alfred is survived by his two sons Arthur and his wife Carol of Georgia, and Alfred of Norwalk. A sister Phyllis Zagarella of Danbury also survives him, along with several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Alfred is predeceased by his wife Nancy Cogswell Leas, and a brother Roger Leas.
Alfred was always a very caring and giving person, he will be greatly missed.
Family and friends may call at the Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street, Norwalk, CT on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM with a procession to follow to the Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk, where a prayer service and interment will be held.
