Agnese DelGiudice, a forty-nine year resident of Norwalk, passed away on Sunday, June 2nd, 2013, with her family by her side. She was 79. Born on March 15, 1934 in Tremensuoli, Italy, Agnese was the daughter of the late Antonio Cappuccia, and Maria Orsini. She is survived by her daughter Teresa DelGiudice Hall and her husband Jim Hall of Monroe, a son Joseph DelGiudice of Norwalk. She was the loving and caring grandmother "Nonna" to four beautiful grandchildren, Julia Hall, Jenna Hall, Jacie Hall, and Joseph DelGiudice, Jr. Also surviving are her two brothers Nicandro and Gennaro Cappuccia of Norwalk, along with her sisters Filipa Cardone of Italy, and Alba Ben-Barka of Virginia. Agnese was a loving, devoted, hard working, peaceful woman who loved spending time with her family and friends. Her love was expressed through her passion for cooking. This past Sunday, the "Nonna's House" tradition came to end after cooking her last meal for her family and friends as she was called to heaven. The loving mother and "Nonna" to all will be missed dearly by the many lives she touched. We will forever hold her love and tradition in our hearts. Her children adored her and feel blessed to have had a mother with a heart of gold. Their comfort rests in knowing their parents are reunited. Besides her parents Agnese is predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years Gaetano DelGiudice. Agnese family will receive friends on Thursday, June 6th, 2013 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from 4:00PM to 8:00PM Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 7th, 2013 at 9:15AM the funeral procession will leave the funeral home and process to St. Jerome R.C. Church, 23 Half Mile Road, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM. Entombment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
